Yes. All Kayley Loring books contain open door sex scenes. This means there are graphic descriptions of sexual acts between consenting adults. The steamy, spicy scenes are always sex-positive, never gratuitous, and they are usually fun! Fun fact: several women have told Kayley that her audiobooks have really spiced things up between them and their husbands when they listen together!
Everyone has a different way of rating spice, so it’s hard to say! It varies from book to book and series to series, but they’re two to three and a half jalapeño peppers, perhaps? You should definitely listen to the spicy scenes with your headphones on if you’re in public.
The Brooklyn Book Boyfriends is a collection of standalones, not really a series. These books, like all of Kayley’s books, stand alone. The four books in this collection all take place in Brooklyn (Come Back to Bed is mostly Manhattan), and all of the main characters from Rebound with Me, Come Back to Bed, and Tonight You’re Mine show up in The Plus Ones. You should probably read Tonight You’re Mine before reading The Plus Ones, because you won’t like Keaton Bridges very much when you read Tonight You’re Mine, but you will love him in The Plus Ones.
In the Plus Ones, the main characters from Rebound with Me, Come Back to Bed, and Tonight You’re Mine are now married. So, if you are the type of reader who wants to read about how a couple gets together before reading about them as a married couple–then you should start with Rebound with Me, Come Back to Bed, and Tonight You’re Mine, before reading The Plus Ones. But you can read those three in any order.
Kayley used to be a professional screenwriter (under a different name), so she is very comfortable writing dialogue for actors. Kayley has written many of her books after she had already cast the narrators for the audiobooks and she casts the actors based on the type of character she plans to write. She not only writes with the narrators’ voices in her head while writing, but she keeps in mind whether or not the actors are good at certain accents when creating characters. She will often ask a narrator if they’re comfortable singing, playing an instrument, or doing impressions of celebrities while she’s writing, to make sure the actors are in their comfort zone and to ensure that she is giving the actors the opportunity to showcase as many of their talents as possible.
The Brodie Brothers series (Funny Business, Attachment Theory, Good Vibrations) is an excellent example of a series she conceived of entirely because of how she wanted it to play out in audio. If you listen to those audiobooks, it’s like listening to a TV show, because the same actors voice the same characters throughout the series.

To be clear, Kayley is only obsessed with the aesthetics of really great butts and technically she isn’t even obsessed with them, since she does think about other things. Like new ways to describe a really great butt.
